Media - Preliminary Task - The Encounter

Media Preliminary Task

                             The Encounter

What I have to do is :
A character opens a door, crosses a room and sits down in a chair opposite another character, with  whom she/he then exchange a couple of lines of dialogue

Me and my group which consists of Tselmuun Gerel and Chi Wen Ha are going to create a small piece which mostly tries to mostly express interest and some humor. We are going to be using a variety of camera shots, such as 'Over The Shoulder', 'Extreme close up', 'Very long Shot' and many more. We are going to use this large variety of camera shots so that our knowledge of them are expressed and so that the clip can be seen from various angles. Moreover, we have to keep in mind to be consistent, for example if we are going to film the same scene but from another angle, we must make sure that the props are in the same place so that it seems professional. Also, we have to follow the Rule of Thirds so that our scenes show no dead space. Moreover, the 180 degree rule needs to be used so that when we use the 'Over the Shoulder' shots, our faces will not seem weird.

In this image, we have done the storyboard for the beginning. In the first frame,    there is Tselmuun opening the door. In the second frame, the same action is being done but on the other side. Within the third frame, there is Tselmuun walking across the playground. In the final frame, we have a close up shot of Tselmuun's feet tripping up.
In the first frame, there is a medium shot  of Tselmuun's body falling forwards. In the second frame, there is a very long shot of the background with Tselmuun's body lying on the floor. On the third shot, there's a big close up of my face being shocked and in the 4th frame there's a very long shot of me running towards Tselmuun.
In the first frame, there is a medium long shot of me and holding out my hand to help Tselmuun up. In the 2nd frame, there is another medium long shot of me and Tsel holding hands to help each other stand up. In the third frame there is a very long shot of me and Tselmuun walking together and in the 4th frame there is a medium shot of me and Tselmuun also walking together.
In all 4 frames, there is a over the shoulder shot of me and Tselmuun talking to each other on the benches.
In the first 2 frames, we are still conversating in an over the shoulder shot type. In the 2 final frames, there is an extreme close up to our eyes to show friendship.
